As well as being Chairman of WDDA, Keith is also Chairman of Bournemouth Deaf Club. Keith was awarded the MBE in the 2000 New Year’s Honours List for services to deaf people in Bournemouth.

Jonathan Hickman is currently training to be a science teacher in secondary school and loves communicating and working with deaf people, particularly leading respite holidays for SENSE deaf/blind young people. Jon leads enrichment activities in sign language and deaf awareness
Barbara Lidbury has retired from her own construction materials business and is now working for Hearing dogs for the Deaf preparing young dogs for their working life. Barbara is also helping to deliver sign language and deaf awareness enrichment activities in local schools
